What Love Feels Like

Butterflies weigh me down, Sparks fly…
Every time you come around,
My feelings for you multiply.
I think you’re the bee’s meow and the cat’s knees.
I try to tell you how I feel,
But the cat grabs my tongue at the last second just to tease.
My throat goes dry,
Like I haven’t had a drink in days.
Wish I could speak without inhibitions,
But for that I’d need to drink for days.
You probably can’t see
That I blush when I’m around you;
My face feels red,
But on the inside I feel blue.
Not because I’m sad,
But because around you it’s hard to breathe.
Feel like I’m at a disadvantage
Because I wear my heart on my sleeve
I don’t know what you’re thinking
Or if you ever think about me.
I hope you’re not into Macs,
Because I’ve always been a PC.
